When it comes to deciding on a tattoo many people want to take something important in their life, and make it a lifelong work of art. Whether thats by honoring loved ones, commemorating big events, or showcasing lifelong hobbies. However many people don't realize just how much you can represent without being incredibly literal.
So Julie and her sisters came in to get help with just that. Unconventionality depicting their love for their lost parents, and their shared experience in spreading their ashes.
Each of these three sisters came together after their parents passing to celebrate their life. each of them taking a moment to spread their paren's ashes , and each having a profoundly personal moment there in to say good bye.
Julie saw her parents as a butterfly flittering through the plumeria branches nearby.
while her sister said goodbye as she watched the plumeria flowers drift down the waters.
And Lastly coming to us last inspired by her other sister's work found meaning in how her parent's ashes swirled away in the current.
So each of their experiences even for the same moment greatly varied, and required a different perspective and practice. Which allowed them to just as uniquely commemorate their parents.
As shown above however that wouldn't be the only time Julie came to us to commemorate something for her. As we later worked together to artistically share in the symbology of falling ginko leaves in the wind. Especially after the back to back hurricanes here in Florida rocked us both in its tempest.
Of course Julie and her sisters aren't the only ones we help like this. We have loads of families and events commemorated on skin! So heres a few more in case these weren't enticing enough!

If these examples helped you understand anything I hope its that no matter our troubles we can find a way through them. Not to mention find strength in moving past them, and even beauty in the world around them.
Hope you're inspired by this one. Leave some comments or reach out to let us know what you think!
