Peter Bogdanov

Peter Bogdanov has been tattooing since 1993 and is known for taking on complex work others avoid. His specialty includes advanced cover-ups, illustrative tattooing, and paramedical work where experience, judgment, and technical control matter most.

With a foundation in fine art, formal study of human anatomy, and decades of professional tattooing experience, Peter designs solutions that restore clarity, balance, and confidence to the body. His work has been published internationally, recognized with industry awards, and featured through multiple television appearances as a tattoo expert.

Each project is approached collaboratively and executed with intention, precision, and respect for permanence. The work is guided by the client’s needs and vision, not the artist’s ego—built to last and made to amaze.

Full  Color

Peter’s approach to color tattooing is rooted in formal color theory, composition, and long-term performance on skin. Each design is customized to the client’s anatomy and vision, using color deliberately to create depth, clarity, and lasting impact.

Black & Gray

With formal study in anatomy and fine art, Peter creates black and gray tattoos that follow the body’s structure and natural movement. Shading, transitions, and contrast are applied deliberately to support realism, flow, and long-term durability.

Cover Ups

Cover-up work demands restraint and honesty. Peter focuses on solving the underlying design problem instead of masking it with density. Through careful planning and controlled execution, the new work is designed to settle naturally and age clean.

Paramedical

Paramedical tattooing sits at the intersection of art, anatomy, and care. With formal anatomical study and decades of tattooing experience, Peter provides paramedical solutions that prioritize safety, symmetry, and natural appearance. Every step is approached methodically, with respect for the client’s body and recovery process.

The Artist

Alongside tattooing, Peter maintains an active practice in painting and large-scale murals. Working in these mediums reinforces his understanding of composition, color, and scale—principles that directly relate to how tattoos are designed for the body.

His tattoos are defined by his client's wishes, his art has it's own unique presence.
